Double Posting
You may have noticed that I am posting a lot more lately. This is for a few reasons. First is that when I have something to say, I tend to just want to say it. Sometimes I schedule it to post later in the week or month. But other times it is only relevant in the present. So a double post just sort of happens.
But more than that is my personal goal.
In January I decided that I was going to blog every single day for a full year.
But then March and April threw my life into a spin cycle. On every front- professionally, personally and in-between- I was maxed out. Blogging just didn't make the cut. And when I am super stressed, I have a difficult time balancing what to write with what I want to write (read: TMI).
So now my goal is newly revised.
I am not going to log 365 blog entries this year.
But I do think it is possible to set a new personal record. To beat my blog posts from 2008, I need to write 269 total posts. This post is my 226th post for the year.
So, while I do try to only write when I have actual things to say or remember, I feel I should be upfront in my personal quest to beat myself in a silly game that means nothing to anyone other than me.
I might never have enough content to blog every single day. But 43 posts in 2.5 months is doable. I hope...

When I started my blog in August, I committed to writing 5 days a week for one year and if I was sick of blogging I would quit. Actually, I am glad I set that goal for myself because I have a tendency to go full steam into something and then burn out after a few months. We'll see what happens. Glad you are blogging a lot more. I enjoy your blog tremendously!
I like the double posting. I never mind reading multiple posts when people have things to blog about!
I was sticking to 5 days a week but now I am occasionally posting on the weekends or not posting on a week day
