Are You Registered To Vote?
Fellow Americans. Are you registered to vote? If not, this is the last week in many (all?) states. I think Colorado's date has passed- this past Tuesday I believe. NY is this week. Time's ticking!
This is one of my biggest soap box issues.
Everyone. EVERYONE. Every single one of us should exercise our right to vote. EVERY SINGLE ELIGIBLE AMERICAN!
There is just no excuse, y'all. Unless you are giving birth or something. But my girl Stacy who I wish would get back to blogging, waited in a very very long line down south four years ago to vote. She got no special privileges, despite being minutes away from welcoming Ben into the world. And peaches, she VOTED.
So really, everyone needs to register and get out to the polls.
Plus, it's fun.
And free. Everyone loves free things in America.
Not as fun in NY as it was four years ago. Because we have upgraded our voting booths. Which are still outdated by many standards. But the booths we had before required actual physical strength to vote. They were ridiculously awesome and leftover from World War something era.
But I digress.
Please, if you only do one thing today, register to vote if you have not already.
We can discuss the need to vote in local elections even more than national on another day. First things first...REGISTER!

Just updated my voter registration!
Agreed!
One of the most important things you should do as an American is VOTE.
Remember that someone died for your right to vote. Don't abuse it!
I couldn't agree more!
I agree!
Nothing angers me more than people who complain but don't vote!
