Confession...

My Christmas tree is still up.

The ornaments have been down for about a week but the tree (fake and pre-lit) is still up.  And I still turn it on in the evening.  I mean, if it's up, why not turn it on?  I'm thinking of putting the red ornaments back on and just calling it a Valentines day tree.  That just seems easier than actually taking it down.

Obviously my New Year's Resolution to stop procrastinating is working famously.

Oh you gotta take that down now.
Kick the procrastinator out the door and put that thing away.
Christmas will come around this year and you will hate the thing.

I got rid of our real one but the fake one in my boys room is still up. Decorated and prelight garland strung all across the room. I use it as their night light light now. They ask me to take it down and just get them a real night light but putting that garland up was so much work! Hey we are ahead of the gang for next year or christmas in july.

Oh honey, I am totally feeling you. The Christmas tree in my girls' room is still up. Ok, truthfully, the entire upstairs is still decorated. I managed to get the exterior decorations down and the main Christmas tree tucked away, but I cannot quite make it to finish the rest. I am right there with you.

My Parents still have their Christmas tree up. They finally undecorated it this week, but they still light it up in the evenings. They just don't leave the curtains open so the neighbors can see.

One year they left the large fake one up year round just because they had no place to put/store it. We decorated it for the differrent seasons and holidays, and it was fun.
