No Lilly Left Behind

The two items I put in my cart from Ruelala today were gone before I finished looking at everything. In less than three minutes time! THREE MINUTES! What's the point of an invite only sale if you only have two items to sell to the thousands of Lilly lovers. I was on exactly at 11AM and didn't dilly dally around. I made my choices and went to buy and then sad sad sad they were stolen right out of my shopping cart. That's just bad manners, Ruelala! Hopefully y'all had better luck today.

Me too! Things were already sold out before I had even finished scrolling down the page. Next time, I think I'll start at the bottom of the page!! I had 11 things in my bag and when I went to check out, I only had 3!

IMO, Ruelala should make it so that once you put something in your shopping cart, it stays there for 15 minutes and if you haven't checked out by then, THEN it can go back to being available to everyone else!

I went and looked at items and well they didn't have a lot of items in my size. I am not an uncommon size either. I had a few things in and was just clicking to go to the cart and the items I had put in the cart were also taken right out of my cart.

I had 3 dresses in my cart. Went to pay and ended up with one... I am with you.It was frustrating.

I was looking too, and stuff was FLYING out of there. I didn't get anything; nothing I was in love with and could bear to part with money for :-) Sorry your goodies got lost! :-(

I feel you!!! I wish they held your items for a certain period of time once you put them in your cart. I like Gilt's method. Once you put them in your cart you have them for ten minutes.

You should sign up for the Quick Shop option- this way- each time you add something to your cart- you buy it as it is added to your cart- which guarantees that you get the items. Sorry you girls didn't have luck :(

Wow-sorry! I only ever did the Tory Burch sale on LaLa and got what I put in my cart. That sucks! I got on pretty early too, and a lot was gone already. What was left just didn't interest me.

Yeah, I had a little tutorial about RueLaLa on my blog today, because Lilly always goes way TOO fast! Sorry you weren't able to snag anything. :(

oh you poor thing!!
one of my items sold, but i was quick with the other two.
On Rue La La - there is a feature called "Quick! Buy it" where you can store a credit card and all your info in advance, and then when you see what you want just hit the button. I think us lilly lovers should institute this option!
On the bright side, you did save a few dollars! ;-)

I am not an impulse shopper so I think I am done with Rue La La the dress I really wanted sold out when it was in my cart, I don't like feeling pressured into buying things.

I was logged on before 11 and refreshed until it started and both items I wanted were gone. Very frustrating! Gilt needs to have a Lilly sale soon, it is way easier on there.

I agree with Sunshine and Summertime about reserving things that are in your cart for 15 minutes. I had two items sell out in my cart. When I logged in at 11:01, one dress (the one I really badly wanted) had completely been sold out.

NO!!!!! I had no luck at all. I found my dress, went to pay for it and ZAP....some little bugger swiped it. I figured I was safe because I'm probably one of the very few Lilly lovers that doesn't wear from a size 0 to size 6. I figured I would do well being that I wear a larger size. Hahahaha. Not the case...not a thing. That place makes me mad.

Aww sorry it didn't work out for you! I definitely think they should let you keep the item on hold in your cart!

That happened to me at a previous sale, so disappointing! Now I have my info. stored so I can buy it now with one click, no worrying about items disappearing from my cart. If you visit Re-Lilly on Facebook and go to the Discussion Thread called "RLL Shopping Tips" you can find helpful info. to prevent missing out on items in the future. XX Sue

I think maybe it's Gilt Groupe or ideeli that does the reserve in your cart thing where you have 10 minutes to purchase it... Rue La La should totally do that. But they do have a good return policy, so sounds like the Quick Shop option could work too.
