Sadie Kate had another seizure tonight. The seizure itself didn't seem to last as long as the other two but it took her a solid hour to come out of the daze she seems to be in after seizing. Oh it is just so scary! I decided not to take her to the emergency vet tonight as they never actually do anything for her. I'll call and bring her in to our regular vet first thing tomorrow. She seems better now. She is up and walking and ate a cookie. God picked the wrong momma to have this happen to though- I do not handle this all very well. I am a mess of worry and tears!!

I dont think god picked the wrong mama, Sadie's lucky to have someone who cares about her as much as you do :)
We moms of pets never handle them being ill very well and we worry, worry, worry. I'd say you are the perfect mom for her. :)

Aw poor miss Sadie Kate! Charlie sends her some extra ear licks, kisses and crotch sniffs. And God certainly didn't pick the wrong momma! He picked the perfect momma! We'll be thinking of y'all and eager to hear an update! Man, it's sure been a week full of doggie dramz! XOXOXO
I'd have to disagree with you - you make a great pet parent. Good pet (& kid) Mama's worry. a.lot. It's not a character flaw - it's a uncontrollable desire to want the best at all times for your fur ball. Sadie is probably just as worried about you (if not more) as pets sure sense when we are distraught!
Northern girl has the right idea! God picked the perfect doggie Momma- Someone who cares as much as you do! I'm the same way when it comes to our pets. My rabbit of four and a half years died only after we put him through hundreds of dollars worth of surgery- and I cried for days. I even had to leave work early! I'll say some prayers for you and Sadie Kate!

I am so sorry! I was just thinking last night that I didn't know what I would do if anything happened to my little Cricket. I hope they find out what is wrong and can help her. Sadie looks like such a sweet girl!
I'm sorry to hear about Sadie! The Lab my family and I had when I was a child had seizures every once in a while. The vet put him on some kind of medicine to help him with it. I hope everything works out well, it is no fun to see your puppy in pain :(
My thoughts are with you and Sadie. My previous dog (Casey) started having seizures when she was about 5 years old...the vet never figured out why and she had them off and on until she passed at a ripe old age of 17. I know how hard it can be to watch them have one.

KK- I am so sorry to hear about Sadie Kate. I know how scary it can be. We had a Golden Retriever when I was a teenager and he had epilepsy. Poor thing had seizures all the time. It was heart wrenching and scary and I feel so bad for you and Sadie Kate.

Oh poor Sadie Kate. I hope she's feeling better. It's so scary. I thought Malcom had another seizure last week but when I took him in, the vet said he had a heart attack. But he came through it beautifully. She's calling him the energizer bunny. ha.
