I sincerely hope I like eating kohlrabi. Because in the
I planted seeds as an experiment this year so let's see what really grows up big and tasty race, kohlrabi seems to be winning. And that's also the only plant that is new to me. So let's all hope it's yummy and continues to grow well.
Does anyone have any kohlrabi recipes? I mean, I'm months from picking it but I feel like I need to get ready for the big crops to roll on in.

LOL! I have never even heard of that! I hope it's good. Looks a little like beets...
I've never had it before, but a friend of mine gets it in her CSA box. She always just dices it up and adds it to stir frys.
Wish I had some recipes to share with you for this one, but I've never really been a fan. Yes, I've had it, but didn't care for it. I know you can julienne slice it, or use a mandoline to slice it and put it into a salad raw.
So, I'll come out of blog stalking to tell you I learned about this a couple of years ago and started eating it last Summer. It's good chopped up and eaten in a salad (has crunch like a radish, but not the peppery taste) or raw like carrot sticks or celery. You can also roast it in the oven like you would potatoes or parsnips. You can also slice it thin and bake it to make chips. I like to think of it as a root vegetable that grows above ground.
