OK so it turns out Facebook is a ball. I'm sure my fascination will wear off shortly but at the moment I am getting a kick out of seeing what my childhood friends look like now. Who is married and who has kids and where people live....so fun!
One of my elementary school pals has our class pictures from K-5th grade on her page. Seriously adorable! One year I rocked the 80's side pony tail. Another year I was in my brownie uniform. Which seems odd to me- who wears that on class picture day? I'm sure I insisted on it. I was just as bossy back then as I am today. But the scary revelation came when I looked at my second grade class photo. I was wearing jeans (white washed of course!) and Keds and a polo shirt. Now I like to think that my style is up to date but the fact that I wear practically that same exact outfit at the age of 30 has me a bit worried. Did I dress like a 30-year-old back then or do I dress like a seven year old right now? Is this a chicken/egg issue maybe? Either my wardrobe is timeless or completely dated.
I also think it's funny to remember that I was obsessed with pants and shorts (remember I grew up in south Fla) for many years in elementary school. I only wore dresses to church and Cotillion. As an adult I would rather wear a dress than anything else. Well, in the summer that is. It is far too cold in the winter to even think about a dress unless I am going to a wedding or something crazy like that.
I am realizing that is post is pointless. But I will admit that FB is sort of really fun. For now. The novelty is sure to run out in the near future.

It is fun... it took me a while to warm up to it, but I like it now much better than crackspace. I don't even get on MS anymore. I like how it shows "friends in common" with other friends... it's cool to see friends of yours from totally different circles that know each other. You're like, wait, how do you know so-and-so? Fun stuff... :-)
Let me know how you feel about FB the first time an ex-BF or childhood enemy or even worse an ANONYMOUS STALKER continually friend requests you.
I shut my FB account down months ago!
I remember how much fun FB was when my school got it back in 04- the first time that I was on it, I was on for about 3 hours...!
Have too much fun!

Love facebook. At first I did not want to try facebook...did not want to crowd my kids and their friends. As soon as I got over that I discover a whole new world. It is so much fun to chat with my high school buddies. Its great to have my own network.
Oh no Miss PPC, not at all pointless, as it helps others (moi) try and figure out what it is we should be doing on it... with it... you know what we mean!
Cute post, hope your weekend is splendid!

I can't get into facebook. I just haven't take the time to figure it out. Glad you're having fun!
oh facebook. Unfortunatly I don't think the fb addiction wears off. But it is tons of fun:)
I am a facebook addict and have been for a few months. LOVE IT! Enjoy!
I think I need to look into this. My friends are all on it and photographed pictures at a party for it. Sounds fun.
I LOVE FB! I to date have not had any bad expierences. There was a friend's sister who requested me to be her friend. I accepted, but then after a couple of months of posting almost nude pics on her page, I deleted her. She hasn't requested me to add her anymore.....I think the friend request was just a popularity contest for her...to see how many friends she could get.
Facebook is really fun, and it's SO addicting! I definitely care for it much more than MySpace. I don't even get on it anymore. But still love Facebook.
Oh - I do love me some FB, too. Totally fun.
I just discovered FB this weekend, after a friend emailed me and told me how much fun it was. I have had so much fun reconnecting with friends from elementary school, high school, and college. It is truly addicting.
Its is sooooo addictive! I think everyone gets like that when they first start with it - I have WAY too many ex boyfriends on mine - eek!
I love Facebook!! and I can get on it at work, which three years ago when I was addicted to Myspace (yes I know, sad) was not the case. But like Myspace I am sure it will get old, but as long as friends keep finding me and dropping posts I will keep loving it. How else can my 5th grade BFF find me!!
