Mmmm, Maters!
My cousin and aunt both have huge, beautiful gardens this summer. And they each have one plant of THE MOST DELICIOUS tomatoes ever ever ever. See those tiny orangy-yellow cherry tomatoes in that bag full of 'maters? They are like candy. When I was house-sitting a few weeks ago for my cousin I would just stand in the garden watering the plants and eat every one of the ripe orangy-yellow goodies. I cannot even describe the flavor other than saying they are the most amazing tomatoes ever. On Sunday my dad brought me this big bag (plus two other bags with a variety of veggies) after he went out to see my aunt and uncle. I'll probably have kanker soars by the end of the week after consuming so many tomatoes but whatever. Details. I wonder if the High Fructose Corn Syrup peeps can spin eating a t'mater as being just as healthy as their processed sweet ick.

I can't stop laughing at those corn syrup commercials. I've been trying really hard to cut down on high fructose corn syrup but it is in so much food!
Me too. I've only recently started really paying attention to labels and it truly is a "lifestyle change" to omit stuff like that from a diet. Slowly but surely I am working on it. One step at a time. Those commercial crack me up though. I guess a lot of people are working on it too and they need to boost sales.
You should make tomato and cucumber salad! MMMmmmm!

Sometimes there is nothing better than a ripe tomatoe! I could eat a whole bowl of cherry tomatoes with a little bit of salt!

I don't like tomatoes, but these look DELICIOUS! (I think I'd like them better if they came from a garden and not a grocery store :)) Those HFCS crack me up too, when I saw the one with the popsicle, I was so confused until I realized it was PRO-HFCS for once!
The tomatoes at the farmer's market are amazing right now. You should make some salsa and some tomato sauce to freeze for the winter!!

I LOVE home grown vegetables! They have such a fresh taste and reall kick to them.
The corn syrup ads are a bit much! To all those of you trying to cut it out of your diet, hang in there! I have done it and feel so much better!
That commercial freaked me out! Insane!!!!
