Get Ready

I have been trying to get this next post up for days now.  But blogger was down and then it decided to not post things.  Actually, that's an ongoing problem I've been having with all of my blogs.  I schedule something. I triple check that it really is scheduled and not just in draft.  It is.  I check a 19th time.  It is.  Two days go by and I realize the post never posted.  I look.  It switched to draft.

Over and over and over again this is happening to me.

I know that everyone is switching to Wordpress but I just can't.  I don't like it.  If you blog in Wordpress and I read your blog, it's because I really really like you.  I think commenting is a pain in the ass.  I don't like that you can't follow (my main way of reading blogs).  And it's unfamiliar.  By now you should know that I am a total creature of habit.

So instead I whine and complain about blogger and it's many failures.

But friends, today is seriously THE DAY.  For a giveaway.  It's going to be sperry exciting!

So hold on to your hats and kick off your shoes...

Don't worry you have lots of company, I have been sperry frustrated with blogger too...and on top of them losing some of my drafts, some comments with some of my past posts just realized they lost my very first beloved and significant FIRST post!~! Can you believe that? I am soo upset. Just found this out yesterday. For that reason alone I am seriously thinking of making a switch, I am giving it a few days and if it doesn't come back may do that. I am just so frustrated and some are saying they have grown too fast and it might be sign of things to come, so I don't know what could happen in the future.......look forward to hearing more!

If you want the equivalent of following someone who uses wordpress, try using google reader. You can then just copy and paste their blog address into "Add a subscription" and it adds it to a list, plus google reader already imports any blogs you follow so you don't have to re-ad them. xo C

I adore Sperry - their new line is genius. And I just wanted to make sure you know that if you read blogs in Google Reader you can subscribe to the Wordpress blogs via RSS. We don't want to lose you:).
