Blog Question
Hey y'all- all of a sudden a blog that I am not following is showing up in my Dashboard. In the evenings I do my blog reading from my Blackberry. And this dumb blog posts every half hour so my entire Blackberry Dashboard is filled to the brim with this person's ramble on stuff I don't care a hoot about. But when I go to "manage" it still is not listed anywhere. I went to this blog and it doesn't even have a follower block thingy. It's totally spam. A blog spam about car insurance or something. I can't seem to figure out how to un-follow a blog that does not appear to be followed to begin with. Has anyone else had this happen to them and do you have advice on how to get rid of this spam bloggy person?!

I have flagged it as spam 4 times, I hope blogger takes care of it.
OMG!! The same thing has happened to me today. It is SO annoying. I can't figure out how to make this scam go away. If you find out what to do to fix it, please let me know.
Hi KK - others may have more details, but A Southern Girl in the City {katie lake} changed her URL to ohijustloveit.blogspot.com, but this "Roger" posting about car insurance is using the old url. It's happened to all of us that follow Katie.
I tried unsubscribing in Google Reader, but it kept popping up. When I added Katie's new URL, the Roger posts came back. Now, I've deleted both URL's {old and new} and stopped following Katie's new URL {I actually went to her page and stopped following as opposed to unsubscribing in reader b/c that way didn't work} and it hasn't happened as of today.
I want to still follow Katie, but I'm like you and can't handle that spam coming up in my Google Reader! Hopefully it will sort out and I can get back to following Katie.
Same thing is happening to me!!! Something about car insurance UGH. I can't get rid of it!!!
You can remove it in the google reader, but I haven't been able to remove to spam blog from blogger reader. Let me know if you figure anything out! Good Luck =)
I am getting the car insurance blog too!!! I am going to see now how I can rid myself.
I was able to get rid of it by using the "Manage" feature in my dashboard. Once you click on this option you get a list of the blogs you subscribe to, find the one that is causing it: ohijustloveit.blogspot.com,and next to it click the "settings" option. Click on the green google check mark, and click "remove" and I also clicked on "stop following". Now it does not appear!
