So I just flipped on American Idol. I don't watch this show but I think the group song bit is cute. But I see that every other guy is wearing skin tight jeans. Like the Jonas Brothers. What the heck is with that tight jeans on boys business? I mean, I think there are very few women who can pull it off nicely. So boys, notsomuch. I cannot think of a look less attractive than the I-painted-on-my-pants-this-morning look on a man. Now I'm not saying that the baggy britches with your undies hanging out is any better but a happy medium is perfectly perfect fellas. Khakis. When in doubt wear khakis.

Ugh, I DESPISE the Jonas Brothers and all tight pants wearing stupid little boy bands. And yes, they really DO buy pants in the girls department. My friend once dated a guy who into that look, the "scene" look some call it, and he wore his SISTERS old skinny jeans. It wasn't a pleasant sight. Not to mention he did the whole swoop bang/hair look and so he was always holding his head to the side to keep it out of his face. If only he realized how silly he looked...

OK I guess I'm the only one... but I love this look. It's nothing new - the skin tight pants are a rock/punk look that goes WAAAAAY back. I mean that's what inspired all the skinny pant looks of today. Which I also love - ON the right person.
Now do I want the hub in a pair of tight black jeans? Um... no. He doesn't exactly have that "rock" vibe. He's best left in chinos for sure. Haha! But I will totally rock a punk look now and then. A sensationally subdued version, nonetheless... but yeah.

Gross.When I was in Top Chop the other week the attendant asked me if I minded if a guy came into the cubicle next to mine - to try on a pair of girls jeans. Hmmmm... Apparently its a tinhg over here with CERTAIN guys - they say they are more fitted. Ahem!
I dated my bf in college for 4 years, and he did not own jeans until about 4 months before we broke up... I tell my current bf that one of my favorite things about him is that he does not own jeans. Its really gross. And I see teenagers everywhere wearing the tightest jeans! I'd rather they were too big and hanging off with boxers showing than this.
It's funny to read everyones responses...I've not seen kids today wearing them (except the Jonas bros) and of course rock & roll has always meant tight pants. lol
My 9 yr old just got invited to a costume bday party and of course wants to be one of the Jonas Brothers...I guess I'll have to go shop in the girls dept?
