Need Veggie Help

I know, three posts in less than an hour is obnoxious. What can I say, I'm an all or nothing sort of girl. Anyhoo.... I have to bring a veggie side dish to a JL meeting tonight and I am going blank. Any suggestions? Seeing as how it is nearly noon and I need this to be done by 6PM tonight, it needs to be super quick and easy. Not to put any pressure on y'all or anything. Thoughts??

What kind of side dish? I have a great recipe for a Sesame String Bean salad if you're interested. Let me know and I'll post it.

I have a squash casserole recipe that was a huge hit at my last potluck.

I'm not sure if you want an actual dish or if you just want something people can grab (like finger food) but I LOVE humus with veggies. Carrots, asparagus, celery, cucumber. mmmm!

I'm with the asparagus suggestion! Or if you are really running late... live by a gourmet grocery? Although nice to bring something home cooked, perfectly understandable to bring in as well. :)

Is it vegetarian?

Prosciutto wrapped asparagus is always quite popular and easy!

If you can't use meat, I say do a platter of hummus, baba ghonoush, and nan bread/pitas. Yum! And crazy easy!

But I also have to say that I had an amazing side dish on Thanksgiving--it is quite hearty so it was appropo for the holiday but oh my goodness-it was so delish! It was a broccoli/cheese gratin. I'm sure you can find a recipe easily enough!

Have fun! :) :) :)
