Potty Dance
Have you seen the Potty Dance commercials? If so, can anyone explain them to me? So the kids on the playground tell the mommies that they have to go potty. And then the moms insist on doing this ridiculous dance instead of rushing to the potty with their kids. I know it's a commercial. But it makes zero sense. Now, I don't have kids (salt in the wound) but I have been around them forever. Babysitting, nanny, Sunday School teacher, friend's kids, etc. I've never seen a mom or other adult tell a little kid who is about to tinkle in her pants that she should wait or better yet, break out in song and dance. So dumb!

You are hilarious but so right on with this!!! I don't get it either!!!
Thank you. I was just thinking that exact same thing today when I saw said commercial.
agreed!
No, it is annoying. What's more annoying is when your toddler screams "Potty Dance" every single time it comes on and insists we all do the dance....but still won't use the darn potty! Why you singing the song boy, if you ain't gonna listen to the lyrics! Also, if the kid had on a pull-up, it would have been okay to pee in it. No big whoop.
I totally agree. I work with 3 year olds that have just been potty trained and there is NO WAY that I would do a dance before he/she went to the bathroom. It's more like, "you have to go to the bathroom? Go Now!!!"
Lol no accidents pleaseeeee
As the mother of a child who is resisting potty training a bit, anything that makes it fun is fine with me. We do the potty dance after we take care of business.
Oh man... /agree. That's all!
