BBFF's

Y'all are nothing short of AMAZING!  I was feeling six shades of blue.  I blogged it out.  And y'all gave me comment hugs.  I am humbled by your kindness.  I mean it when I say that you are the very best friends I have never (yet!) met.  How did I ever get so lucky?  Thank you a million times over!!

Not only did y'all leave me the most amazing comments on the planet, but several others took the time to email me personally.  Complete strangers reached out to me.  Bestie tweeted about it and got all sorts of great advice.  Jennifer, of Aristobrats fame, even talked about it on Facebook.  And it all just means the world to me!

I will start new.  I would still like the folks at etsy to at least communicate with me.  Three emails later, they are still refusing to email or call.  I wouldn't mind two websites.  But regardless, by the weekend I will be all kinds of shiny and new.  And of course, y'all will be the very first to get the Pink Crocodile Designs inside scoop!  Because you're my best blog friends forever!  And that's just how BBFF's roll.

In the mean time, Bestie convinced me I needed to twitter.  Or tweet.  Or twit.  I honestly have no idea what it is called or why anyone does it or what it is they do. And that all just seemed like the most obvious reason to sign myself up.  But it turns out that Preppy Pink Crocodile is too long for the tweet peeps.  And someone is already using Pink Crocodile.  Hello, rude!  So I am officially Preppy Crocodile on the twitter thingy.  If you see me following you, don't block me.  It's just little ole me trying to get the hang of yet another "must have" gizmo thingy in my life.

And a final word on etsy.  While we are clearly in a fight, I would hate for everyone to stop shopping from the fantastic crafters on there.  They are working hard to keep handmade relevant and that is not an easy feat in America where just about everything is mass-produced in foreign lands.  After a lot of discussion and reflection, I am rather certain that this battle is personal to me.  I didn't actually use the big bad B word so for it to be noticed, one would have to specifically look at my website.  I don't know why I was the target as etsy won't talk to me, but it is clearly about me and not about the bigger picture.

Onward and upward!  Stay tuned...

Just found your blog and love it. I don't know the back story to this post, but I will say that being on twitter is so much fun and it does help for getting frustrations out when need be! Looking forward to reading more :) xoxo

I just read your previous post and I am so sorry. That is a huge bummer. I just started on Etsy and got the taggies email also. It was scary, and Etsy was not supportive. I emailed taggies directly and got everything worked out. I think your things are so cute you can do well wherever you are. I have heard big cartel is great. Good luck!

I am catching up on blogs from last week. That really sucks they fired you. They should at least give you a reasonable answer or even answer your emails over the situation.
Your new site will be better.
