Good And Bad

I promise to tell y'all more later but for now, here's my Cliff Notes version...

I'm in my hometown. Where Satan and his wife (please refer to "Monster Monday" posts) live. Tomorrow ia truly one of my most exciting life moments. My Godson will be baptized and I will become a Godmother. I am happy beyond words. BUT...there is a good chance I will see (and have to publically face as I am publically confronted by) Satan and his wife. I am a ball of nerves and my tummy is in knots. Its a big dark cloud. (In addition to the big dark rain clouds and record cold temps! What the heck, SoFla?). If you have a moment, please do me a favor and either think a positive thought or say a prayer that they are just flat out not there tomorrow. I don't ask this often but it is so important to me to avoid any contact and especially and public confrontations (they love a good ambush!).

Oh and I had a crazy flight down here. Seriously, so odd and just wild! But I am typing this on the b'berry so that too has to wait until next week.

Happy Weekend, sweet friends!

Oh, I am thinking of you. How nerve wrecking. Just know that you are now stronger and in a better place now. They can not take that away from you. EVER. They are powerless now unless YOU decide to give them power. Have a great time and enjoy the day with your godson. xox

Just found your blog this morning while I was escaping from doing housework. I was only going to be sitting for a few minutes and found your blog. After reading this post, I had to go back through and read your old posts. Who knows how long I have been sitting here now!!!! LOL

I can't imagine growing up living through all that. You were a child, an innocent child who should have been nurtured and protected. What your mother did and put you through makes my heart ache.

What you have lived through and overcome, takes incredible strength. I can't imagine having to see "them". I hope for your sake they don't show. I'm thinking good thoughts for you and said a prayer.

KK.......you have so many prayers and people who truly love you on your side. No one has power over you unless you let them have it. Be strong and don't let them ruin this special moment for you. Spend your efforts and energy on what matters most.....being there for your godson.
Wish I could be there to chase away evil spirits for you.

I will pray that your paths don't cross. I went back and read your Monday posts and honestly I think you will handle them just fine in the unfortunate case that you run into them. You were strong enough to leave when you were 16 and you have had these years to mature even more. You now are on their level as an adult, just remember that! They have no power over you. Hugs!!

OMGosh- so sorry to have the good and the bad all mixed together. But I am now reading AFTER the fact, so can't wait to hear how it went.

And BTW - that caaaa-ute apron you sent me a year or so ago was a big hit over the holidays. I wear it all the time and got so many compliments on it. Thank you, thank you! I think of you every time I put it on!
