I don't even know where to start in regards to the OC Housewives. I actually missed the first 15 minutes but it seems that Gretchen did not cheat on her fiance....am I correct? I hope so. I was so tired but it was worth staying awake to see Lynne and her cuff bracelets. I was laughing so hard when she went on and on about working so hard. Listen, I make things too so I get the creative and physical aspect. But it was just hilarious to hear her going on and on and on about working super hard as they show her gluing a bobble to the top of a bracelet.
What is wrong with the picture when cute Gretchen feels less-than simply because she doesn't have fake breasts? If that is the OC standard of beauty, add that city to the list of places I will never live. Though, isn't LC from The Hills from OC too? She doesn't seem to be all about fakey-mc-fakey. Then again I only watch one Hills episode last season so maybe she is and I don't realize it.
How is an hour in a car with friends a waste of time Vicky? Unless it was some serious emergency that involved a world leader or a patient's life, I would never again invite a friend to hang out with me if she whipped out a computer claiming that talking to me for an hour was a waste of time. I'll give you a waste of time! I actually don't know what that means but it sounds all huffy and serious. :)
That lunch conversation was so typical. I actually understood both sides of the discussion. Didn't like how either side presented itself but by now I expect as much. But I got it. What amazed me was that both Vicky and Jeana felt that they were more deserving of an opinion than Lynne. Self-centered much?!
Why-oh-why do I watch this show? I hope Laurie comes back. I wonder if her daughter's business got off the ground. Or if she ever took a honeymoon. Come back Laurie!

Oh how we love that show at my house! I have never felt as uncomforable as I did when watching the end of last weeks episode. Tamra is an EVIL person! I agree with everything you said in this post. In fact. the hubs and I debated the same topics last night!
LC is from Laguna Beach. I guess if you live in OC you have to have fake boobs. I mean they all have them, except for Gretchen who I was surprised didn't have them. Lauri is my favorite too, but the New York wives are coming back in Feb. so I guess we will see a season finale of the OC wives soon!:( I like the OC wives the best!
I have no idea why I watch but for some strange reason can't stop!!! I cannot believe Lynne's cuff bracelets sold for $250-375 How crazy is that???????
Tamra is so evil and Ryan is disgusting!!!!! Vicki is mean and I don't think she is a real friend to any of them!!!
I love that you are just as obsessed with these ladies as I am! You are right, Gretchen did not cheat on her fiance. However, she went on and on about how Tamra's son was hot and turned her on. I was surprised nothing happened! Or maybe it did? She actually spent the night there because she was so drunk.
This show has an odd fascination for me and I can't stop watching! Tamra grates on my nerves the most, although they are all a bit nutty - buy then again, if they were all normal, it would probably make for a boring tv show and we all wouldn't be watching :)
I have a strange addiction for this show, too! You just can't make this stuff up, ha! Lauri was definitely my favorite and I miss her so much! I hope she will consider coming back eventually but I also think that Gretchen has been a great addition to the show. I heard that Jeff died, that's awful! Anyways, I'm sad that it's coming to an end again. NY was good but Atlanta was ridiculous! OC is still the best!
If Lynne is such the creative person she is, why was she sitting at her kitchen table with cardboard covering it? Did you see her trying to ripe that piece of leather off to redo it? UGH, I like Jeanna and can't stand Vicki -I've never liked her though!

That money conversation was just so touchy. I totally get where Jeana and Vicki were coming from and I think waaaay deep down their hearts were in the right place but Lord, they were pushy. Lynne lives in a friggin fairy land if she thinks "oh he will be fine (wrong - dead) and I'm sure he saw to your care." Dude. Ya know why she thinks money is not the end all be all? BECAUSE SHE HAS LOTS.

I, too, love this show. I cannot miss an episode. Tamra's son is soooooooooo creepy. He was quite pushy (whatever happened to 'No means No'?). Vicki is quite funny, but she really cannot handle someone disagreeing with her. I'll keep watching.
Oh I feel the same way. Its like watching a train wreck I just can't look away! I am glad Gretchen didn't hook up with the man whore, but this season its seems everyone is mean, super mean. I can't stand Vicki and I think it is disgusting that she brings her laptop in the car...who is she trying to impress?
I was laughing at Lynne too. She is such a jackass! She really is stupid. Yes they did not hook up thank GOD. This show gets trashier every week and I love it!
These shows are most certainly guilty pleasures. I think Lynne will not be making it next season. She really does seem like she is baked half the time. Ryan is GROSS! I think Vicki and Tamra should be ashamed of what they did to Gretchen.
