Y'all, I don't know what to do. I can't figure out how to solve my problem. It's nearly two weeks now and so far no one on the interwebbers can offer any assistance.
I have posts about recipes (some REALLY great ones), dresses, a celeb chatty post, travel (two trips actually- NYC and FL), and even a little sewing tutorial. But all have photos. Which cannot be posted. So I am just not posting at all.
And I am physically upset about this whole bit.
Leaving me to seriously question my attachment to blogging. Like...I think it's perhaps a bit unhealthy.
I don't know really why I first began blogging. I've talked on here several times over the years about how I discovered blogs. But I guess I started just out of curiosity. I didn't have a specific voice in mind. Over the years this blog has had its ups and downs. And the content has been all over the place (No one...let me repeat...NO ONE likes my gardening posts. I still write them anyway.). But at some point a good long while ago I stopped caring much about what others wanted to read.
I write in part as a journal. To remember my life events, albeit small most of the time. To remember recipes and projects that I enjoy. All of this is for my own personal benefit. If others like what I say, great. But if no one reads, that's OK too. And I write in part as a way to communicate with sweet friends. Friends I have known since birth and friends I know only by blog title. I think that most of us who have been around long enough (five years next month for me!) consider many other bloggers to be real, true friends.
But am I too dependant on this blog forum?
Not having it working and not knowing how to fix it has me thinking that I might not be listening to the message. Perhaps this is His way of saying I am giving this online blogity blog too much of my time and attention.
I don't know. Just what's brewing in my noggin this week.
And if anyone can help me with the no photo problem, I would love to at least know how to fix it.

I have no idea how to fix! I am VERY amateur when it comes to blogging. Maybe one day when I have a house that has some sort of green space I would enjoy your gardening posts :) For now all I have are the few trees lining my NYC street!
Have you tried to upload your photos to Picasa and use that to host your pictures? Also Google/Blogger has a limit to the storage space for your photos. Have you exceeded that?
I had that problem and I only had a few posts but I realized when I was using Blogger to upload it was taking the full size(aka huge since I have a SLR camera). I switched to Picasa and have it resize the photos to smaller for the web and haven't had an issue anymore.
I don't use blogger so it's a little hard to help, but do the photos show up if you host them someplace else (like flickr or photobucket) and then insert them into the post using html code?
Here is my stab at a solution...I have heard of others saying that their blogger "photo space is full" Maybe this is the case for you. The only workaround I know would be to upload your photos to a website (many recommend photobucket) and then input the photo using the URL option and the photo location. Not sure if this will help, but it's what I would try if I were in your shoes. Hope you find a solution!
I am clueless when it comes to blogger. I know the basics of posting but otherwise... nada. I know you get it figured out!
Why see it as dependance - it's simply a journal of your life.
Now, why dont you tell me what's going on and perhaps I can help?
I hope this doesn't become a universal problem when the new blogger comes out in April. Yikes. I'm still using the old blogger editing/publishing because I HATE the new one (always makes me photos centered and the code is different so I don't know how to edit). Maybe try switching back? I think it's under basic settings (you might have tried this already)
I think it may be the space issue. I had that happen to me a few weeks ago so I purchased some for I think $5. Sometimes I also just post pictures directly from my Flickr album. Email me if your still having trouble and I'll try to walk you through some solutions. :-)
I am not much help with the problem. Have you tried clearing your cookies? I know others said something about the limit but I think I heard it tells you that is the issue.
Ouch on the pix not posting, that would bother me as well, no fun. I know some people have been having problems of late with Blogger, hopefully it will be self-correcting...?
Like you, I am not posting as often, in part because people are reading so much information all day long as it is, I think blog reading has tapered off for many.
Like others, I say if you are enjoying it, do it! It's about what feels good for you, not the rest of the universe. :)
I have no clue whatsoever about the photo problem. Of course, I do prefer pictures in posts. Anyway, I just want to let you know that even though we don;t know each other, I look forward to reading your posts.
