I Might Be Trashy If...

I now own Jeggings.

I ran to Target last night to buy dog food (seeing as how I was completely out and had to give the dog a breakfast of cookies and other random non-dog food which she of course loved) and a few other essentials.  But my cart steered me towards the pants in the junior section.  You know, where clothing comes sized in odd numbers. Thankfully I also found a pair sized in proper even numbers.  Took the time I didn't have to try them on, and lo and behold...they came home with me.  I still need to try them on again at home.  My mirror tells the truth that store mirrors lie lie lie about.

I had never heard of them until a week or so ago when Gracie Beth mentioned them.  She looked so cute!  I don't know if owning them makes me immature or trashy or what, but I don't care.  They look so much better in boots than my straight leg jeans.  Now to work up the nerve to actually wear them...

I wish they came flannel lined though.  It has been sooo cold up here lately.  Snowing as I type this.

Back to the grind...

Welcome to the club! I bought a pair of jeggings a year ago when they were still a huge faux pas.. but I like them and think they can be worn appropriately! :)

My bestie and I tried them on at our favorite boutique, tar-jay over Thanksgiving and were pleasantly surprised! I think you can totally make them work, especially with cozy long sweaters for these snowy and cold days. :)

They are definitely coming into their own. I own 2 pairs a love them. Abercrombie (I know, I know) makes several pairs, and they are amazing. And come in proper even sizes

I love my jeggings. It makes them so much easier to wear with boots than regular skinny jeans.

I've been considering buying a pair, just wan't sure how they would look on me. But I'm seeing them more and more, paired with longer sweaters and a variety of boot styles. May have to make the plunge!

Good morning from Tokyo!

I really have to put my two cents in as I own a pair of jeggings (courtsey of my daughter) and they're really no different from leggings, in my honest opinion. They're much more casual, but if you wear them with a lovely sweater and tops, they look so chic! I love mine and really, it's how you wear them that determines if they're trashy or classy. You, my dear, have nothing to worry about as you seem to be very well-heeled and approaching how to wear them with great thought.

Check out my latest blog post~I wore mine in my newest "30 for 30"!

A lovely Dcember day to you and your new jeggings ;)

Warmly,

The name is just so hilarious! I kinda want a pair too though. Much easier with boots.

I have a pair I went ahead and got for cheap during Give&Get at Old Navy, I share your thought on them I haven't had the bravery to actually wear them

You are so not trashy. The name is trashy, but jeggings are very cute and flattering.

I also must admit I have a pair, they are sooo much easier to tuck into boots than regular jeans! Not very warm though I have to agree!!

You have intrigued me! I need to seee some pictures!

The key is to get the ones that are thick like jeans! I now live in them. They were wonderful during finals because other pants do not stretch and dig in!

I bought a pair at the end of last year. I LOVE them with boots and sweaters!!! Mine are more jean than legging, though. For some reason that makes me feel better!!!

LOL at owning jeggings! I admit that I have been tempted, but am not quite brave enough. Yet.
