I was asked to make Easter outfits for a little girl and her new baby brother. The mother picked out the green Amy Butler fabric but I took it up a notch with the polka dot fabric at the bottom and tie and the purple lining. I was thrilled with the results and am never disappointed by my decisions to line dresses. Takes twice as much fabric and time but the look is so finished and just so worth it. Originally the mother wanted a top to coordinate with the daughter's dress. But then she realized that wearing a strapless bra while breastfeeding was impossible. So as a treat I made her the wide headband. I hope she liked it! I certainly had fun making the cute little set.
