Does anyone else keep up with the Kardashians? When they first became a TV show, I didn't know who they were or why I should keep up with them. And while I am still not entirely clear on how they became celebrities, I admit that I have watched about 75% of their shows. And don't you dare judge me. I read your blogs and see how many of you watch The Herpes (aka The Hills) and Polygamist Porn (aka The Bachelor). Anyway, I don't really understand all the "characters" on the Kardashian show but I can't turn away. I like a little trash TV now and then. There, I said it!
So what in the world is Kourtney's deal? Clearly the girl has self-love issues that require vast amounts of therapy and Zoloft. The Scott guy is just the scuzziest of all humans. He's so selfish and just so ick. She's beautiful and educated and driven and cute. And he's just a big slime ball. Kourtney, I can get past your name being spelled with K, but for the love of your cute baby, drop that bad habit before its too late.

Ick. I actually hate all three of those shows. Lol. I watched the first episode of the bachelor on hulu recently just for kicks and OMG this guy is so gross! He looked every single girl up and down. I'm not a celebrity worshiper at all. I don't want to watch shows about their lives and hear their drama. Now fictional drama like Desperate Housewives? Totally hooked. =]
That show is my guilty pleasure! I love Kourt and cannot stand Scott, so I totally agree with you.

I watch it while my husband cringes...She sure does put up with a lot of crap her family says about him, maybe thats part of the reason why she stays with him...The thing I don;t get even more is how Kloe got married so quickly!?
Yea....I don't know why I watch it either, but I still do :) AND Scott annoys me beyond belief. I hope Kourtney sees the light and kicks him to the curb (though I really should just hope that he matures and can be a decent human being)

I admit that I, too, keep up with the Kardashains;o) I agree about Scott- can't stand him. I don't know what she sees in him.
Ok, I will admit I do enjoy the Kardashians. And I continue to wonder why she puts up with Scott. Especially after he made such a fool out of himself while he was drunk and Kim's birthday. He just seems like a jerk and like he only wants to be with her to be on tv. I really don't like him. haha. But I do wonder why she stays with him! This girl needs to grow up, she's having a baby, and learn that she can't be with these crappy guys just because they show the slightest interest in her.
You know, I have never watched this, but he just looks creepy. Scary, icky, creepy!
BTW it is *so* nice to know you finally heard some words of appreciation, that was great to read. And even better to see that Sadie's cute little nose has healed up almost entirely!

I remember the Kardashians back when their bio father defended OJ Simpson and OJ fled from his home...and the famous Louis Vuitton garment bag. I actually started watching Kris Jenner then, never knowing that she and her children would become such celebrities. LOVE the show!
I watch the show on and off and I don't get them at all, I was surprised when I saw a magazine cover recently that they got (or are getting) married? They are such a crazy family!
Scott is a jerk. Hopefully, he just acts that way for the tv show. If he's that way in real life, she needs to move on.
Can't keep away from the Kardashian's. ha! Not a fan of Scott, really.....but sometimes I wonder if he's the only sane one because you gotta admit that whole Kardashian/Jenner clan is a little crazy and trashy. Personally I think he fits right in.
Ooohhh I watch the Kardashians... I agree Scott is just a fool, but I can understand her wanting to make it work with her baby's father....
And as for why they are famous, you might know this already, but Khris' first husband was one of OJ Simpson's lawyers, and Khris was close friends with Nicole Brown Simpson, I think that's the first time the family name got major press. Then of course she's married to Bruce Jenner, and Kim, Khourtney, and Khloe, as well as Bruce's three boys all went to the best private school in Beverly hills along with many of Hollywood's other rich kids, so they have lots of connections with Hollywood's elite (remember Bruce's boys had a reality tv show of their own for a season or two).
Then when Kim shot into popularity because of her sex tape with Ray Jay, I think that they hired a PR person to put a positive spin on the whole thing, and since Kim was already working on a lot of photo shoots because she was a makeup artist, I think things just sort of ran from there and she started "modeling".... I think they ended up getting the show because they're one of those families you love to hate, and they have soooo many connections in Hollywood.....

First of all, "polygamist porn" is cracking me up! Secondly, yes! Why is she with him? He has rapist eyes...seriously, those eyes are creepy! What is the attraction? The girl is gorgeous, and seems to be somewhat level-headed (in comparison to the other Kardashians) so why is she with him? And why does she keep taking him back? I totally agree, and hope her mom gene kicks in soon and she kicks him to the curb!
