Last week I finally got around to getting my hair cut and colored. Yeah!! My girl does a fabulous job coloring my hair. I feel so much better now. And of course I just had to pop into the Lilly store. I mean, it's practically across the street. It would be sinful to ignore a store full of pink and green loveliness, right?

So I walk in and what do I see? A table full of Jack Rogers! Normally this would not bother me but I have suggested to the store at least five times that they start to carry Bonannos. I was all, I'm so disappointed in y'all for carrying Jacks instead of Bonannos! And the girl working was like, what are Bonannos? So I gave her the run down (one would think I flippin' work for the company the way I brag....but alas.....tis not the case.....I just love a fabulous monogrammed sandal!) and the website. She loved them. Of course she did! But I'm thinking this is all a big bunch of wishful thinking because this was about the sixth time I told the store about Bonannos.

But I got over the shoe issue and found this fabulous skirt on sale. I love it! I want it in other colors. Seriously so cute and comfie.

My 4th was pretty low key. Picnic and fireworks. But it was cold up here. July 4th and I was wearing a fleece! Something is seriously wrong with this weather. I mean, our summer is short enough up here in the North Pole. I can't handle being cold on what should normally be a "hot summer day." Unacceptable!

And my big big news is that my oldest best friend (we've been best friends for 30 years....THIRTY....top that!) had her baby boy, Jack, this weekend. He is adorable and looks just like his daddy, who I have been friends with for almost 27 years.....TWENTY SEVEN! Going back to my hometown is like a pre-school reunion. I'm so excited to finally be an Auntie. It really makes my own baby alarm clock ring out of control though.
