I hope that neither of them are cheating. But I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to see them start going to couples counseling. I think that would be a great addition to the show. It would be a positive example to millions of Americans who are scared of speaking to a counselor for whatever reason. It would help people understand that working on a relationship is a good thing. And maybe it would help Kate finally learn to sincerely say one of the most powerful phrases, "I'm sorry." Because, you know, I'm so sure TLC is reading my blog for programing ideas!

I totally agree!
love this post and idea! couldn't agree with you more!!!
I couldn't agree more...and I am tired of the Kate bashing. No one is perfect and until we walk in her shoes we cannot judge. Just my 2 cents. I pray they don't split up for the sake of the children. My parents are divorced and it is still horrible for me twenty some years later...
We have never watched an episode of the show but feel almost-up-to-speed on things, and think your suggestion is an excellent one. (Are you sure they don't read your blog for input? They should! Hee-hee.)
Have a wonderful weekend,
tp
I know, it would be nice to see a show that isn't about the perfect shiny family and how they do it all - but instead is about a real couple trying to make it work, because in reality, marriage is hard work - and lord knows it must be even harder with 8 kids!
I LOVE this idea! I've been wondering how they're going to handle the whole situation. It would be nice to see a real couple making an effort to improve their relationship in the media. And you're so right about Kate finally learning "I'm sorry"!
I hope TLC is reading!
I could not agree more! I hope they fight for their marriage and try to keep their family together. The addition of marriage consoling would be great!
Oh my gosh I totally agree with you. They both need to learn some positive communicating skills.
Love your blog!
They might not be reading your blog, but they ought to do so!
