On Saturday, I did laundry. I know, so crazy exciting. I lead quite the thrilling life, I tell ya!! Anyhoo, included in the laundry fun was Sadie Kate's bed. I wash it fairly frequently so this is nothing new. But when I brought the laundry up to my bedroom to sort and fold, Sadie followed me in. And was completely distressed when she went to take a nap in her bed. It was missing and this girl was not happy! Now you should note that she can sleep anywhere. She has two beds in my house, plus access to several pieces of furniture. She is far from a suffering child. But girl wanted her bed right then and there. She walked around in circles and sniffed the donut stuffing until she found a way to sort of get into her beddy. Seriously, how pathetic does she look?!
So I quickly went to work putting her broken bed back together again. She was so excited and snuggled right in as I went about folding the rest of my laundry. Ah, freshly washed donut bedding... life is good!

One of my dog's tore up the other dog's bed, so we bought him a new one and then he refused to sleep and made my mother repair the bed so every so often my mom had to sew the poor dog's bed back together. It is pathetically funny.
Momma, it is so very stressful when our cushies are not ready and waiting for us! Hehehehe...
My pups are not too picky, but 2 of the 3 must have their cushies. But, Belly - as usual - couldn't care less. She doesn't do dog beds - because after all, tt, she is not really a dog.
Awe, that is so stinkin' cute!
Now, I am going to look at lassie dogs all day and send ads to my hubby. Last Friday I was in hot pursuit of a golden retriever... the week before that... a westie. I need a 12 step program!
OHHH!! I wish I had a dog. I love that about animals....their quirks and everything.
Oh Miss PPC, we recognize the look on Sadie's face! It is the "how could you?!" look we see when we take care of Miss Tilly's bed!
So in answer to the question "how pathetic does she look?" we would say "Extremely pathetic." Somehow we don't think you are in danger of ongoing distress though, she *did* manage to overcome the trauma and get in/on the bed!
Grins & Giggles for your week ahead,
tp
What a sweet puppy! Love your redecorating on your blog!
