This bug bucket and fabric market bag and a box of other fun nothing gifties is headed south to a very sweet big brother. I love that green polka dot fabric on the bag. It was one of my favorites!

I love your gift ideas. A while back I received a goodie package from you. It contained a handmade grocery bag. I love that bag. I use it for everything. Did you make it from a pattern you designed yourself? I would love to make a few myself to pass along as gifts.
You are the BEST! I had no idea you were sending this to SB when I first read this post. He was so excited to get a package and even more excited when he saw what was inside. Preppy Pugs- I do make the bags and just made my own pattern based on what I like and don't like from regular store shopping bags. It took me forever to figure how how I needed to sew the handles and I am not convinced that I do it (or anything else for that matter!) nearly as good as I should. My best advice is to either google for a tutorial or to do what I did, design your own based on what you might need. Feel free to use the bag I sent you as a pattern outline. You could also just use two rectangles of fabric and some ribbon or webbing for handles. That would be super fast to sew actually! Does that help at all??
