Blogging, Vlogging, And One Big Happy

I'm back.

Or...I plan to be back.  I really love blogging and plan to re-vamp and re-energize this little space over the next few weeks.

Naturally the first step seemed so obvious.  Try doing something I know nothing about.  Duh.

Here are my thoughts on the new NBC show One Big Happy...

As I am typing this I realize that 99% of y'all have never heard my voice.  I don't think it's really this high pitched normally.  But maybe I'm wrong...

Please give me time to figure out how to film.  I clearly have a LOT to learn.

I've missed blogging and all of y'all.  Looking forward to getting back in the swing of things again.

As I am rehabbing this blog, I'd love to know what types of posts most interest you.  While I write this for myself, it's certainly more enjoyable when posts (be them on the blog or on YouTube) encourage a conversation.

I loved hearing your voice and seeing you. It was like getting to know you after all these years. I have not seen one big happy yet but I have DVR'd it. For comedies, I like cougar town. I think Ellie is hysterical. It is ending but you can watch it on demand. As far as brand new shows, I LOVE secrets and lies. Sooooooo good. Ryan Phillippe, Melissa Gilbert.

Good to have you back! It's fun putting a voice to the face. Your voice is fine, it just sounded like you were a little nervous at the beginning, but your normal conversational tone once you got in to it was fine.

I didn't watch the show, but I have to say that we have a lack of good sitcoms lately. The only one I really have on my "don't miss" list is Big Bang Theory. The rest just seem too contrived and they try to hard.

Funny you mentioned the mid-season replacement thing. I remember that Seinfeld was one, I watched the first episode and I remember thinking that there was something special about it. It took a couple of episodes though. Interestingly enough, in an interview they did with the cast, the episode that cemented the shows place for me was the one that they all knew that they were on to something.
