To Everything There Is A {Coat} Season

This cape looks both chic and cozy!

Yesterday it was in the high 50's here.  And today they are predicting snow.  Fan-freakin-tastic.

Y'all...and I just over winter this year.  {Nevermind that winter doesn't even officially start until the 21st of December.}  I'm not interested in dealing with the snow and my least favorite, the salt.  I'm tired of not seeing sunshine.  I'm tired of days with an hour of sunshine being considered nice.  I'm tired of it.

Which does not bode well for me over the next six months.

I need buck up, I know.  It's a season.  A bloody long, grey season.  But it will end.  Eventually.

Until then I am trying hard to cheer myself up with cute coats and winter accessories.  It's only sort of working.  I am drooling over some of these coats though...

And fun accessories...

I'm not convinced that coats and boots will really cheer me up or make winter shorter.  But it's worth a shot when you are over winter a month before it even starts!

How are you handling winter this year?  Excited?  Dreading it?  It's a season and you're unopinionated about the matter?

I'm sick of it already too, and we have a long ways to go. I'm always glad when the 21st of December is here, I know it's all going in the right direction from there! I just wish it didn't take so long. I have quite a few projects to work on after the holiday that should keep me busy.

It's already been so freaking cold and I am done. I am usually pretty good until New Years because I read the holiday high. After that I am 100% over it. Which is pretty sad because as you and I both know, January and February are the real miserable months.
