It's Fall, Y'all!

Like it or not, the season has officially changed.  Summer has moved on and fall has blown into town.  I'm sort of in a place of acceptance.

One thing I do look forward to annually is a visit to my favorite place in the Green Mountains, Manchester, VT, for my favorite art show.  Admittedly, in good part it's my favorite because 1/3 of the show is gourmet food and wine vendors with samples until your heart is content.  I love finding new and tasty treats!  Last year I came home with a fun alcoholic treats, this year more culinary goods.  Ironically, no art was purchased at the art show.  I'm all about the food!

OOD for the art show and shopping.

I headed up with Super Nice, District and baby H for a day of tromping around in muddy fields.  Again.  We didn't let the rain deter us from a fun day though.  Fresh mountain air, lunch and walking around town, a visit to Vineyard Vines all made for a really great Friday.

Vineyard Vines cords and gingham shirt.  My Vineyard Vines blazer from years ago.  Pearls.

A fall visit to Manchester isn't complete without a pop into Orvis.  I love the store because 1. it's huge and 2. it's fun and 3. they have fireplaces with real fires burning and 4. great views and 5. free cups of hot apple cider.  AND...their pumpkin displays are out of control amazing.  I can't even imagine how much those displays much cost....they're stunning...and all over the place.

Did you do anything fun this past weekend?  Does it feel like fall where you live?  And have you noticed how brave I've been lately with photos of myself?  You have no idea how much courage it takes for me to post them.

It's been a few years since we were there, but I loved Manchester VT, so many cool shops. We spent our weekend in Niagara Falls in the rain--not fun.

Love Manchester. When I went to Skidmore we used to go there all the time. The equinox is great too
